Shelia Luke

Description:
Shelia C. Luke brings more than 21 years of comprehensive experience in academic administration, higher education, and accreditation to her role within the Compliance Division at the Council on Occupational Education (COE). Before joining COE, she held the position of Coordinator of Commission Support and Substantive Change Specialist in the Office of Legal and Governmental Affairs and Commission Support at the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC). In that capacity, she led complex projects involving committee review processes, institutional appeals, and arbitration, playing a key role in refining and enhancing accreditation practices across a wide range of institutions.

Ms. Luke holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a master’s degree in Systems and Reliability Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park.
