Susan serves as executive liaison to the President/Chief Executive Officer of the Council on Occupational Education. In this role, she supports the President/Chief Executive Officer and shares joint responsibility for the application of Commission activities to member institutions as well as leads and/or supports programs or projects aimed at continuous improvement.
Susan is a seasoned education professional with over 25 years of service. Her career spans from a high school business education and mathematics teacher to roles such as internal auditor, fiscal and budget policy analyst, and accounting faculty. Prior to her current role, she served as a dean in the Technical College System of Georgia and subsequent role as Chief Operations Officer at Syntony Design Collaborative.
Susan holds a B.S. in Accounting and M.B.A. from Albany State University and a Ph.D. in Educational Management from Hampton University.
