The 2023 COE Fall Candidate Academy will be held October 11 – 12, 2023 at the Embassy Suites Hotel by Hilton – Atlanta Airport North, 3450 International Blvd., Hapeville, GA 30354.

The Candidate Academy is only for institutions seeking to become a candidate for accreditation with COE. These workshops inform institutions of the accreditation process and cover such topics as eligibility for candidacy and applying for candidacy. Limited to 2 participants per institution. The maximum number of registrants for the Candidate Academy is 30.

The Candidate Academy registration deadline is Friday, September 29, 2023. Registration fee must be paid by credit card. The registration fee is $645 per registrant. There will be no on-site registration. Note: Registration may close early if capacity is reached.
COE has contracted with the Embassy Suites Hotel by Hilton-Atlanta Airport North to provide attendees with a Special Candidate Academy Rate of $223.00 per night. (After clicking the REGISTER NOW link at the top of this announcement, you will be able to make reservations at the Embassy Suites Hotel by Hilton-Atlanta Airport North (with the Special Candidate Academy Rate applied) by then clicking on the ACCOMMODATIONS tab.) The hotel registration deadline is Friday, September 29, 2023.
Note: The Council on Occupational Education is consistently monitoring the Covid-19 pandemic. Currently, COE is following local state and county guidelines regarding COVID protocols. For this conference, proof of vaccination is not required, nor is a negative COVID test. Masks are on a voluntary basis, and we respect individual needs and perspectives.
