COE Announces 2024 Hall of Fame Award Winners

The Council on Occupational Education (COE) proudly announced the winners of its 2024 Annual Meeting Hall of Fame Awards during a special ceremony on November 14, 2024, at the Westin Peachtree Plaza in Atlanta, GA. These awards recognize exceptional individuals and institutions that have made significant contributions to occupational education and workforce development.

The 2024 honorees include:

• Chief Administrative Officer Hall of Fame Award:
  Clay Christensen, Mountainland Technical College
  Clay was recognized for his visionary leadership and commitment to advancing technical education. He has demonstrated unparalleled dedication to student success and institutional excellence.
• COE Liaison Hall of Fame Award:
  Denise Myers, Center for Information Warfare
  Denise Myers was celebrated for her exemplary service as a COE liaison. She was commended for fostering strong relationships and ensuring adherence to accreditation standards while promoting innovation in occupational education.
• Excellence in Community Service/Economic Impact Award:
  Bay Path Practical Nursing Academy
  Bay Path Practical Nursing Academy was honored for its outstanding community service and economic development contributions. The institution’s initiatives have directly enhanced workforce opportunities and improved the lives of countless individuals in Massachusetts.
• Excellence in Occupational Workforce Partnership Award:
  Baldwin Park Adult & Community Education
  Baldwin Park Adult & Community Education was recognized for its impactful partnerships with industry leaders.
