
COE Hall of Fame Award Nominations are Open
We are pleased to announce that nominations are now open for the COEÂ Hall of Fame Awards, to be presented at our upcoming Annual Meeting in November. We invite our accredited member institutions to recognize outstanding individuals and institutions that have demonstrated exceptional leadership, contributions to accreditation, community impact, student teaching and learning achievements, and workforce partnerships.
Criteria for Chief Administrative Officer Hall of Fame AwardÂ
- The member institution must have been a COE-accredited one for at least 10 years.
- The Member institution must be in good overall standing with COE.
- The Chief Administrative Officer must have been in the position for at least 5 years.
-  Letter(s) of support from the institution’s governing board, advisory board, or system leader.
- Submit a Nomination Letter describing the nominee’s leadership excellence and role in achieving strategic goals and fostering a positive organizational culture.
Criteria for COE Liaison Hall of Fame AwardÂ
- The member institution must have been a COE-accredited one for at least 10 years.
- The Member institution must be in good overall standing with COE.
- The COE Liaison must have been in the position for at least 5 years.
-  A letter of support from the institution’s Chief Administrative Officer.
- Submit a Nomination Letter describing the nominee’s contribution to accreditation and continuous improvement at the member institution.
Criteria for Excellence Award in Community Service/Economic Impact Â
- The member institution must have been a COE-accredited one for at least 5 years.
- The Member institution must be in good overall standing with COE.
- Â Three letters of support from local community leaders, such as the mayor, city manager, etc.
- Submit a presentation detailing how the member institution has made a positive impact in the local community, contributed to the local community’s economy, and engaged with the local community to advance the socio-economic level of the community’s citizens.
Criteria for Excellence in Student Teaching/Learning AchievementÂ
- The member institution must have been a COE-accredited one for at least 5 years.
- The Member institution must be in good overall standing with COE.
-  A letter of support from the Member Institution’s Chief Academic/Administrative Officer.
- Submit a presentation detailing how the member institution has demonstrated learner and student centeredness and used effective, active, and engaging teaching to support student outcomes (i.e., increase in Certificates, Placement, and/or Licensure).
Criteria for Excellence in Occupational Workforce PartnershipÂ
- The member institution must have been a COE-accredited one for at least 5 years.
- The Member institution must be in good overall standing with COE.
-  Three letters of support from workforce partners (e.g., employers) in the member institution’s service area.
- Submit a presentation detailing how the member institution has demonstrated excellence in Occupational Workforce Partnerships.
